Edgar Allan is bringing arts and activity back together again —but this time you can just opt to get a drink without first having to stumble across the “Jogger” finish line. On April 23, the Jogger After After Party at AIR Serenbe’s Container Studio —a night of drinks and design featuring “Rule of Thirds,” an installation and performance presented by Brutal Studio, the 2016 Jogger “People’s Choice” winner.
Last year, Edgar Allan collaborated with Monday Night Brewing to create Jogger, a 5K featuring art from signature Atlanta artists along its West Midtown route. Participants not only got some exercise, a little culture, and some awesome swag (like a commemorative beer glass Monday Night filled with brew at the finish), they also got to vote for their favorite artist: EA partnered with AIR Serenbe to award a Focus Fellowship to the winner, a one-month residency inside the creative community that included a cash stipend of $1,500. Brutal Studio —the all-female design and build studio led by artists Allie Bashuk, Danielle Brutto, and Sara Santamaria —came out on top, and “Rule of Thirds” is the culmination of their month-long residency.
